How can we all classify the end of a world? Desolation, starvation, destruction, supernaturals, and/or natural disasters? Well I personally classify the end of the world by natrul disaster, simply because the world was ended by the burnig of it. And it also could be a little of starvation and desolation. The reason behind me saying that is that the man and the boy has there own means of survival, but somehow seems to live off each others love. In the "Hollow Man", it talks about disaster and how war has taken place. And somehow after the war has taken place, we where still able to see the good memories after the war has passed through. On the other hand, The Road, seems to lack this. The reason I say that because the two main characters dont really reflect on there past relationship with each other, but goes off of the current moment that they have to endure. Some of the things that the novel leave behind is love and there desire to live. It also has some aspects of being a little judgemental and who's going to hell and who's going to heaven. But ultimatley in The Road, change is inevitable and that no matter how much the boy and man loved each other. There was no way of them surviving ( are they gone live ?? ) but from lack of human activity and natrual resources, who knows.
